Scope

What this policy covers.

The homepage is a public information site. If you contact the business through the public WhatsApp route or if related email automation is used in this repo, message content and related runtime records may be processed locally.

Website The site is static. The only browser-side preference currently stored by the site itself is the theme setting in local storage under site-theme.

WhatsApp Messages may be sent and received through the official WhatsApp Cloud API, with incoming webhook events handled by the local bridge in this repo.

Media Incoming files and media can be downloaded locally. Supported PDFs and images can also be OCR-processed, with a local .ocr.txt sidecar saved next to the file.

Gmail When Gmail automation is used, local runtime state under runtime/gmail/ may include OAuth state, tokens, watch checkpoints, and related downloaded file data.

Data

What data may be stored locally.

The local tools in this repo keep operational records so the business can review message history, inspect downloaded files, continue ongoing threads, and troubleshoot attachment processing.

Runtime paths

runtime/inbox.jsonl stores normalized incoming webhook records.
runtime/app.db stores the local SQLite runtime database used by the bridge and attachment jobs.
runtime/status.json stores local runtime status and diagnostics.
runtime/media/... stores downloaded incoming media and files.
runtime/gmail/... stores Gmail runtime state when Gmail automation is used.

Record types

Contact and thread data: phone numbers, message text, timestamps, and other webhook fields needed to track a conversation.
Attachment data: filenames, MIME types, media identifiers, file hashes, and downloaded file paths tied to incoming media.
OCR outputs: extracted text saved locally beside supported image and PDF files for search and review.
Gmail runtime state: Gmail OAuth files, watch checkpoints, and related local artifacts when Gmail workflows are used.

Processing

How the data is used.

The system behavior described here is operational. It exists to run message threads, handle incoming files, and keep local state consistent across follow-up work.

Operations To receive inquiries, reply to messages, inspect attachments, keep follow-up history, and continue buyer or supplier conversations through the current business channels.

OCR To extract text from supported incoming PDFs and images so files can be reviewed locally and matched back to the related thread or request.

Systems WhatsApp message delivery runs through Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API. Gmail workflows, when used, run through Gmail API access with local runtime state under runtime/gmail/.

Retention Local records may remain in the runtime store while the related thread, attachment, OCR result, or mailbox state is still needed for operations, troubleshooting, or follow-up review.
